Well, as the happy subtitle suggests, I am a female Asian gamer graphic-designer mental-health-counselor person thing. So there you go.
...
...
Fine, you want me to qualify that a bit?
Female
Biologically a girl, but just as crude, crass, and dumb as a boy. I'm actually pretty bad at being a girl - most of my friends consider me just "one of the guys" and I can't make a sandwich for my life.
Asian
Yellow.
Gamer
While I do have a PS2, a Wii, and my boyfriend has his X-Box 360, we have no room for a television in our apartment, so we are PC and 3DS gamers by convenience. League of Legends is our current game of choice as far as multi-player goes, but Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate has a strong grip on us and we're really looking forward to when Pokemon X/Y is released and when MH4 comes out in the states. Otherwise Steam sales own
Graphic Designer
Mostly by hobby, but previously a professional Graphics Designer. I've lost most-to-all of my creativity in a previous job, working mostly on photo-editing and tourist stuff. I have not, however, lost my nit-picky condescending eye for bad designs. I still can't look at Comic Sans or Papyrus without wanting to rip someone's face off and I am extremely picky about picture quality and such. I can tell when something's been Photoshopped - I have indeed, seen a lot of pixels in my day.
Though, even though I have felt a little out of touch with my creative side, I still enjoy many creative and artistic activities such as crafts, drawing, painting, and coloring! Always a lifesaver when stressed and lacking counseling (for me, maybe not for more serious cases, like... okay, JUST coloring doesn't always work for me).
Mental Health Counselor
I just graduated (May 2013) with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and what I mean by this is actually just "I have a very psychological point of view when it comes to things and often bring this in to what I discuss" This means if I suddenly start talking about irrational behavior or Freud, don't be surprised.
Person Thing
Yup.
